The constellations in these pieces have been inspired by star maps from ancient to present India, Maya, Tibet, China, Japan, Middle East & Australia.

The pieces are a reflection on our place in space. Earth, the solar system, the galaxy, the universe and beyond are all ultimately nature. How do you define nature and your place within it? How does your story affect your sense of place.

The ancients throughout the world used ponds, bowls and water bodies to study and connect with the stars. Gaze into the bowls and contemplate the sky as people past, present and future have seen and will see them. As you gaze at the stars, see all the myriads of other people also gazing with you.
